The goal of this fund is to preserve the beauty and structure of the Suring Area Public Library.  As a 501c(3) non-profit organization, donations made to this fund are tax deductible.  Donations will be memorialized by the addition of the name of the person or organization in whose honor/memory the donation is made to our donor memorial display, which is located in the entrance of our building.
wooden shadowbox with large tree and engraved gift notes
Our  shadowbox donor display, constructed and donated by Diversified Woodcrafts, Inc. of Suring provides a beautiful exhibit to honor donors and memorials.  Each category of gift notes a local type of tree from our own Northwoods.

The category amounts are as follows:
  • Ash:  $151-$1,000
  • Birch:  $1,001-$2,500
  • Maple:  $2,501-$5,000
  • Oak:  $5,000 and up
Donors or those who wish to be memorialized in this display will have their names appear on the brass plates and become part of the ongoing record of our generous contributors.

For donations less than $150, contributors will be listed on a yearly donor sheet to be displayed in the Library.

Donations can be made by sending a check or money order payable to “Friends of the Suring Area Public Library,” which is a non-profit corporation with a 501(c)(3) status.  Please note in the memo portion of your remittance that the donation is for the Library Endowment Fund.  Your donations are tax deductible, so those of you who are planning ahead for filing your income taxes, or those who are working on estate planning and looking for a suitable recipient of your donation, please consider the Friends of the Suring Area Public Library Endowment Fund.
